Deane Andrew Shure passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 9, 2024 in Sarasota, Florida. Born on April 27, 1942 in Washington, DC, he thrived in his career as an attorney and in his many philanthropic efforts.

Deane had deep respect and love for our veterans and served for 16 years on the board of Operation Second Chance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving wounded veterans. Deane also loved wildlife and nature and supported myriad organizations providing care to animals.

Deane loved his beloved property on Tilghman Island, MD, where he resided for close to 30 years before moving to Chester, MD, in 2023.
